| ELVA-1 Millimeter Wave Division jointly announced receiving Certificates of Conformity from the Russian Federation's Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications (MITC) for its wireless communications technologies PPC-80/70 & PPC-95/92 digital radio links, providing data transmission up to 1,250 Gbps.
ELVA-1 Millimeter Wave Division continues to expand its presence in broadband markets throughout the world. The Russian certification makes ELVA-1 the first manufacturer to be able to offer certified 71-76 GHz / 81-86 GHz & 92-95 GHz gigabit wireless links to customers in the Russian Federation, and well-positioned to be a major participant in the large and rapidly-developing Russian wireless communications market.
The process of Russian certification was detailed and lengthy. ELVA-1 had to first obtain development and manufacturing permits, then assist in creating new Russian equipment regulations for these high frequency, high data capacity radio bands. For certification, their equipment was finally subjected to stringent performance testing.
ELVA-1 now has all necessary certifications for worldwide acceptance by government technical agencies: American (FCC), European (ECC) and Russian (MITC) for their PPC-1000, PPC-80/70 and PPC95/92 radio links, providing wireless connectivity at 100 Mbps Fast Ethernet, 155 Mbps STM-1 and 1250 Mbps Gigabit Ethernet capacities.
Elva-1 Radio Links have become very popular among Internet providers in many countries. Recently, the company's PPC-1000 Gigabit Ethernet mm-wave links have been successfully implemented for Internet service in Hungary, Czech Republic, Poland and Latvia. More purchase orders from other European countries are currently being filled. More over, if a customer will accept PR conditions that vendor will have rights to publish information regarding tests and usage of the radio by this customer, ELVA-1 is ready to supply one Gbps link at just 50% of list-price! During the promotion, PPC-1000-E Gigabit Ethernet links are available through the ELVA's VARs in many EU countries who are responsible for local sales/support and placing orders to the vendor.
